Murray Newman is a native of Bryan, Texas and a graduate of Texas A&M University and the University of Houston Law School. He served for 9 years as an Assistant D.A. for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, where he finished as a Felony District Court Chief. Since 2009, he has worked as a Criminal Defense Attorney in Harris County and surrounding counties. Murray also serves as a legal consultant on televisions Cold Justice and is the author of the blog Life at the Harris County Criminal Justice Center.
